By making a reservation with Sandcastle Cart Rentals, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before booking.

1. Eligibility & Driver Requirements

•The primary renter and any person who operates the golf cart must be at least 21 years of age.
•A valid driver's license (any U.S. state or equivalent) is required and must be presented at pickup.
•Proof of valid auto insurance is required for all drivers and must be presented at pickup.
•Renter agrees that only persons who are 21+ with a valid license and insurance will operate the cart.
•Sandcastle Cart Rentals reserves the right to refuse rental to anyone who appears impaired or cannot provide required documentation.

•The rental period begins at the agreed pickup time and ends at the agreed return time.
•All carts must be returned by 8:00 PM unless otherwise arranged in writing.
•Late returns will be charged at a rate of $25/hour, or the full daily rate if more than 4 hours late.
•Failure to return the cart may be treated as theft and reported to law enforcement.

•Cancellations made 72 or more hours before the scheduled pickup time will receive a full refund.
•Cancellations made within 72 hours of the pickup time are non-refundable.
•We will make every reasonable effort to reschedule rather than cancel.
•Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.

•Golf carts may only be operated on paved public roads within Port Aransas with a posted speed limit of 35 mph or less.
•Driving on the beach, sand, grass, or unpaved surfaces is strictly prohibited per Port Aransas city ordinance.
•Golf carts may not be taken off the island of Port Aransas.
•Maximum occupancy is the stated capacity of the rented cart (6 or 8 passengers). Overloading is prohibited.
•The renter agrees to obey all Texas traffic laws, including speed limits and right-of-way rules.
•Open containers of alcohol and driving under the influence are illegal and grounds for immediate termination of the rental with no refund.

•The renter is responsible for any damage to the cart caused during the rental period, beyond normal wear and tear.
•A $250 security deposit (incidentals) is required and will be returned upon safe return of the cart in good condition with a full tank of gas.
•The renter agrees to report any accidents, damage, or theft to Sandcastle Cart Rentals immediately.
•Renter assumes full liability for any damage, fines, or citations incurred during the rental period.
•Sandcastle Cart Rentals carries commercial liability insurance on all carts.

•Sandcastle Cart Rentals is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or property damage occurring during the rental period.
•Renter accepts full responsibility for safe operation of the cart and the safety of all passengers.
•In no event shall Sandcastle Cart Rentals' liability exceed the total amount paid for the rental.
•Renters are encouraged to check their personal auto insurance or vacation rental insurance for additional coverage.

•We collect personal information (name, email, phone) solely to process your reservation and communicate with you.
•We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
•Payment information is processed securely and not stored on our servers.
•By making a reservation, you consent to receive reservation-related communications from us.
